ACADEMIC SESSION-2010-11

ADMISSION

          Admission in 1st semester Classes of Four Year B.Tech. Courses in National Institute of Technology  Agartala during the 2010-11 Academic Session will be done based on the allotment letter issued by the Central Counseling Board under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.

1. FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR 1ST SEMESTER ADMISSION
                                     
            The OPEN category candidates who have already deposited an amount of Rs 35,000 (34000 + 1000) at the time of online counseling to CCB as initial fee will not be required to pay any fee at the time of actual admission. As the institution fee for admission in 1st semester B.Tech is Rs. 32,000/- the additional amount of Rs. 2000/- (34000 ¨C 32000) will be adjusted in the second semester. The candidates belonging to SC, ST category and have deposited Rs 25,000 (24000 + 1000) with CCB at the time of online counseling as initial will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 8000/- as institution fee. The fee should be deposited in Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of ¡°Registrar, NIT Agartala¡± payable at SBI, NIT Agartala branch (Code No.11491).

            The students belonging to states other than Tripura are eligible to stay in Hostel and hostel fees are required to be deposited as per the following rates.

            1st Semester fee for Hostel Rs. 18,000/-
            2nd semester to 8th Semester fee for Hostel Rs. 12,000/-

            The of hostel is to be deposited in the form of demand draft to be drawn in favour of ¡°CHIEF WARDEN¡± , NIT Agartala Hostel.
