Department of Chemistry
Overview
Department was started since the inception of the Institute. It has sufficient infrastructure to run the under graduate and post graduate courses. Faculty members of the Department are actively engaged in both teaching and Research work. Along with the B.Tech classes, MSc. program is also going to start from this current semester. PhD program has already started from this year. Institute Post doctoral fellowships will be provided to those who are willing to do research work after doing PhD. Department is in the process of developing infrastructure for starting research work in the field of Natural product, Organic synthesis, Organometallic Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry, Bioinorganic chemistry and Nanotechnology.
